Name Change – Students, Faculty, and Staff

SA国际传媒 is committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful environment for all students, faculty, and staff. The College offers a process and guidelines for the use of chosen student names and the handling of name changes, also known as 鈥渄ead names鈥, to ensure respect, dignity, and legal compliance. 

This applies to all students, faculty, and staff at SA国际传媒 in all official and informal interactions, including but not limited to academic records, communication, and identification systems.

Dr. Josh Fitzgerald, SA国际传媒 class of 2019

鈥淚 loved the GC Honors program and SA国际传媒. I felt safe and a sense of genuine belonging at the college. I worked closely with my thesis advisor and professors who helped inspire me to define my path and passion of interest. That path has led me to complete my doctoral studies in Engineering Mechanics.鈥

Dr. Josh Fitzgerald earned his master's from Virginia Tech University (studied astrodynamics) as well as earning an Engineering Mechanics Ph.D. He joined the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX as an Advanced Mission Design Engineer, optimizing trajectories for the Artemis II and III missions to return humans to the moon.
