SA国际传媒 Names Nicol谩s Eilbaum Visiting Assistant Professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice

GREENSBORO, N.C. 鈥 SA国际传媒 has appointed Nicol谩s Eilbaum visiting assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice.

Before coming to SA国际传媒, Eilbaum served as visiting assistant professor of sociology at Centre College in Danville, Ky.

He also has taught at the University of California, Los Angeles; The Graduate Center, City University of New York; and Duke University.

Eilbaum鈥檚 publications include 鈥淭heory of Morals and Morals of Theory: A Note on Incentive Combos,鈥 which appeared in the Theory Section Newsletter in 2010, and numerous scholarly book reviews.

Eilbaum holds a B.A. in economics and sociology from the University of Buenos Aires and an M.A. and Ph.D. in sociology, both from Cornell University.

SA国际传媒 provides a liberal arts education grounded in the traditions of the United Methodist Church and fosters the intellectual, social, and, spiritual development of all students while supporting their individual needs.

Founded in 1838 and located in downtown Greensboro, the college enrolls about 1,000 students from 29 states and territories, the District of Columbia, and seven foreign countries in its undergraduate liberal-arts program and four master鈥檚 degree programs. Dr. Josh Fitzgerald, SA国际传媒 class of 2019

鈥淚 loved the GC Honors program and SA国际传媒. I felt safe and a sense of genuine belonging at the college. I worked closely with my thesis advisor and professors who helped inspire me to define my path and passion of interest. That path has led me to complete my doctoral studies in Engineering Mechanics.鈥

Dr. Josh Fitzgerald earned his master's from Virginia Tech University (studied astrodynamics) as well as earning an Engineering Mechanics Ph.D. He joined the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX as an Advanced Mission Design Engineer, optimizing trajectories for the Artemis II and III missions to return humans to the moon.
